How We Deliver
Clear decisions.Coordinated execution.
A major project goes well when everyone agrees on the outcome, who is responsible for what and how the work will get there. We connect planning with engineering and with the practical preparation for launch, so stakeholders always have something concrete to review progress against.
Our working approach
Settle the plan. Build the platform. Get it ready for use.
Stage 01
Understand the programme
We talk through objectives, users, locations and the processes already in place. That tells us where technology has to contribute and which constraints will shape the work.
Stage 02
Define the delivery scope
Together we agree requirements, priorities, dependencies and how the work will be reviewed. The delivery plan sets out what will be built and who is responsible for each part.
Stage 03
Plan the technical foundation
Infrastructure, backend systems, applications and the flow of information are planned as one. Every technical choice is weighed against the programme's requirements and the resources available.
Stage 04
Develop and review
We build against the agreed scope. Regular reviews give you a structured way to check what has been built, share feedback and deal with changes.
Stage 05
Prepare for deployment
We plan how the platform moves into use: the environment it will run in, the handover and the support that follows.
Stage 06
Support operations
Support is defined around the engagement and the period when the system is in active use. On our research work, that meant support throughout each live period.
What we agree together
A clear footing for the engagement.
Once these are written down, everyone works from the same reference, and it becomes much easier to judge each decision as the project moves on.
- 01The outcome you are aiming for
- 02The technical scope

- 04What you own and what Datalk owns

Cost efficiency
Put the money where the programme needs it.
01Build what matters first
Agree which functions are needed now and which can wait for a later stage.
Match the operating environment to the expected use and delivery conditions.
Plan applications and the systems behind them within a single, coherent architecture.
Bring maintenance and support into the conversation before launch.
Judge each addition by its purpose, its cost and what it does to the delivery plan.
Scale
Planning for programmes at scale.
A programme with national reach or global ambition can span many locations, user groups and operating conditions. We identify those needs while planning and deal with them inside the technical scope.
Our experience delivering complete platforms gives that conversation a solid starting point. Each new plan is still built around the programme's own requirements.
We have delivered complete technology platforms for NMHS-2, USHAS, SAMASTH, ARMS 2.0 and the N-SPRITE website. Between them they cover infrastructure, backends, applications and analysis, and we supported each research platform throughout its live period.
Yes, and that is often the best time to talk. We help turn objectives into a technology scope, taking into account the users, the information involved, the infrastructure, the delivery priorities and the budget.
We welcome those conversations and will work with you to define the technical and operational requirements. Our experience on a national research platform is a strong starting point, and each new programme is still planned on its own terms.
It can cover infrastructure planning and setup, backend development, web or mobile applications, analysis platforms and ongoing support. The exact responsibilities and deliverables are set out for each project.
We look at scope, architecture, priorities and running costs together. With a clear plan in place, it is much easier to judge the investment, decide what to deliver first and weigh any changes.
They depend on the requirements, the complexity, any dependencies and the conditions the work will be delivered in. We talk these through before we put together the engagement plan and the commercial proposal.
Milestones and review criteria are agreed as part of the engagement, so both sides judge progress against the same requirements.
Yes. We usually begin by reviewing what the system is for, its technical condition and the changes you need. That tells us whether the work is feasible and how large it is.
Super Intelligence (SI) is our approach to bringing intelligent tools, data expertise and human judgement into engineering and digital work. Before we apply it, we look closely at the use case and agree how the results will be checked.
The scope and length of support are defined as part of the engagement. On our research projects, we supported each platform throughout its live period.
Start with a clear conversation about the work.
Tell us what the programme is trying to achieve and where it stands today. We will help you work out the technology scope and the decisions that come next.
